Overview

The hydraulic-set casing packer is a hydraulic permanent packer designed for the open-hole fracturing packer system, designed to hang the lower completion pipe in a string. The principle is to press inside the tubing, the thrust produced by the piston acts on the slips, and squeeze the packing element through the upper and lower cones. The upper and lower slips are broken and embedded in the inner wall of the casing, and the packing element expands and seals to complete the setting. At the same time, the locking ring inside the packer locks the setting force and maintains the setting of slips and packing element.
