Technical Principle
Using natural plant modified synthetic base oil as base fluid, it is a system with better performance than oil-based mud, comparable to water-based mud in environmental protection, and more economical than existing synthetic base mud. It has exhibit advantages in environmental protection, reservoir protection and safe field application.
Product Features
- The modification of carbon chain makes the base oil no longer sensitive to temperature and realizes constant rheology. The pour point reaches -26 ℃, and the performance remains stable at 220 ℃.
- No aromatic hydrocarbon, easy biodegradation, no pollution to the environment.
- It is non-toxic and harmless, with high flash point and ignition point. Base oil does not belong to dangerous goods, so it is safer to transport, store and use.
- Less damage to reservoirs. No corrosion to seals and rubber that attached to downhole tool, Avoid additional trips and improve the drilling efficiency.
- The consumption of drilling fluid is small, and the solid waste arising from drilling operationis significantly reduced.
Scope of Application
- Ultra deep, HTHP wells.
- Deep sea operation under large temperature variation.
- Ultra large horizontal displacement.
- Speed up bottleneck: high friction, high pump pressure.
- More difficult: wellbore instability, salt gypsum formation, etc.
- More stringent requirements of environmental protection.
Service Performance
Successfully field applied on 8 wells located in the southwest shale gas field, breaking 3 records:
- The "one trip drilling" was successfully trial for 2318m interval, and the drilling cycle was only 16 days;
- The horizontal displacement is 1500 meters , the average ROP is 9.74 m/ h, and the drilling cycle is 9.1 days, breaking the record of the average ROP and drilling cycle in Sichuan oil and gas fields;
- The drilling cycle of a single well is 56 days, and refreshed the record of a single well.
