Natural Gas Decarburization Unit
Overview

PSA, as a low-temperature gas separation and purification technology, is characterized by its simple processlow energy consumption, strong adaptability, ease of operation, advanced technology, and cost-effectiveness, ithas rapidly developed as a method for various gases, including natural gas, coalbed methane, svnthesis gasfrom ammonia conversion, and furnace gas, to remove and recover Co₂.

PSA technology typically consists of basic steps such as adsorption, depressurization (including forwardadsorption, reverse adsorption, flushing, displacement, evacuation, etc.), and pressurization. Generally, a twotower or multi-tower process is used to ensure the continuity of the process. The operating cycle is determinedoased on gas composition, pressure, flow rate, and product recuirements, tvpically ranging from 3 minutes to 30minutes.
The operating pressure of PSA is determined according to the type of product, feed gas compositionadsorbent performance, process characteristics, and upstream and downstream processes, aenerally within therange of 0.05 MPa to 3.00 MPa.
